  1. It´s a real laugh!!! The funniest thing of all is that I felt identified with the ignorant man who couldn´t deal with the new resource, a simple book! It happened to me not with a book, but with the computer. At the very beginning of having Facebook I didn´t know how to manage it! And I´m laughing now becauso I showed the video to my mum and she said that she is as uninformed with the computer as the man with the book! I can prove that! She is totally anti technology!

    Have a nice weekend!
    Hugs!

  2. Hello people!!!! Although I have already watched this funny video, it was a great pleasure for me to have the chance to enjoy it again!!!! It clearly describes how someone feels when he or she has to deal with something new. The same happened to me when I had to work with internet for the first time!!! (so I understand you Luz!!!), especially when Liliana told us about her GREAT (jeje) idea of having a blog and working with collaborative writing!! At firt it was a mess!! But then I enjoyed it!!
    Have a nice weekend!!!

  3. SOOOOO FUNNY!!! hahahaha!! I love it!
It's impossible not to laugh at it because this very same situation could either have happened to us or to some member of our family or friend in contact with a notebook, for instance.
Technology advances so fast that it doesn't let us time enough to acquire the "new information"!
Hopefully, we'll have Liliana and Paola helping us and encouraging us to use NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN THE CLASSROOM!

  5. Hello everybody!!! How are you? This video is really funny!!! It shows how people feel when they have to learn how to use new technologies. While watching the video I remember when some years ago I had to explain to my mum how to use the computer for the first time. It took some days for her to learn how to use the mouse but now she spends a lot of time in front of the computer.
    See you soon!!!!!! Luci

  6. Hi again! How are you doing so far?
Although this video is very funny, it is a bit realistic at the same time because in a way it was my case a couple of years ago. I was not so much interested in technology and besides I didn´t know how to use the computer.Everything changed when my parents bought me a pc.That was when I started learning how to use this kind of technology. In my family, the only person that uses the pc is my father and it took me a lot of time to explain him how this works but now he is getting used to using the computer. As teachers,we should now how to use it and teach to our students how to use technological resources.
That´s all for today, see you tomorrow in class, bye!!

  7. Hello! How are you? This video is really hilarious. I totally identify with that poor man. It’s usually very hard to start to work with new technology. When someone suggests including “a new system” in a class o elsewhere, I am at a lost. What happened to this guy is funny and true for everyone… He was so scared of the book at the beginning that he didn’t want to open it! And then, he had to repeat the process twice in order to understand. And even then, he didn’t get it! Well, this is in fact a very familiar situation. Of course, it’s not with a book (this would be really embarrassing), but with the new technology.
OK. I see you in class!
    Bye

  8. Luci! You are lucky because your mother wasn't afraid of the Mouse. When I was around 11 years old my Mum asked me to teach her how to use the Computer. But when I told her to move the mouse and she gave up inmediatly.

  9. Hi! Well, I've never had difficulties with techology, because I like a lot to work with the computer and the Internet. I have to help my mother or grandmother with all this, because sometimes, they are like the man in the video.

    See you! Bye!

  10. Hi everybody!
The case of the poor man is different from mine, because I've never had problems with the computer. I really like using it and I spend a lot of time in front of it.
On the contrary, the video made me remember the first time that I had to teach my mun how to use the pc. At the very beginning she was totally lost, but after a few months she was able to manage it with no problem.

    Bye, see you!

  11. Hi guys! this may well be my case. sometimes i feel technology overwhelms me, but the problem is I hate to ask for help and even more to read an instruction guide...in fact last week I had some problems with my computer and when I couldn´t do anything else and after many headaches I phoned the technician. I think practising and using more technology will help me change this...see you tomorrow!

  12. Hi everybody!!! I had a great time reading all your comments. Whether technology is sometimes a mystery to you personally or somebody in your family, we've all been thru funny situations and that's why this video is so good! It's definitely great to be able to laugh at our problems and fears.
Using tech for our class will be a chance to learm more about it and maybe the most skillful people in the group can give the rest of us a hand!
    Enjoy learning!
